About the pad

MISSION

The mission of THE PAD is to fulfill the mandate of Jesus outlined in Matthew 25:35-36, which instructs us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick, care for the needy, and support widows. We are committed to providing ministry and compassionate care to even the most marginalized members of our community

Matthew 25:35

For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: O was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Matthew 25:36

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me

WE BELIEVE

One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism

We affirm the truth of Ephesians 4:5, acknowledging that there is one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism.

The Holy Bible

We hold the Holy Bible as the infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate truth, providing the keys to inheriting eternal life and unveiling the profound mysteries of our faith (John 5:39; Deuteronomy 29:29).

The Oneness of God

We believe in the absolute oneness of God. He revealed Himself as the Father in creation manifested as the Son in redemption, and now operates as the Holy Ghost within the Church ( I Timothy 3:16).

We profess that Jesus Christ is GOD incarnate. In Him dwells the fullness of the Deity in bodily form. We declare that the name of Jesus Christ is the sole name given to this generation for salvation (Colossians 2:9; Acts 4:12).

God's Plan of Salvation

We accept and adhere to God's plan of salvation, which involves baptism by water and spirit. Jesus Christ, despite being sinless, was baptized to fulfill all righteousness, setting a perfect example for us to follow (John 3:5; Matthew 3:15).

Water Baptism

We believe that water baptism, performed in the name of Jesus Christ, is essential for the forgiveness of sins. It is a public declaration of our faith and our recognition of Jesus Christ as God. (Acts 2:38; Acts 8:37)

Rebirth by the Holy Ghost

We affirm that rebirth by the Holy Spirit is essential today, just as it was in the days of the Apostles.  This spiritual rebirth empowers us to live according to God's will and to fulfill our divine purpose (Acts 2:4).

Proclamation of God's Word

We are committed to proclaiming the word of God to the entire world, obeying the Great Commission, and spreading the gospel to all nations (Mark 16:15, Romans 10:8).

Our Blessed Hope

Our hope is anchored in Christ Jesus our Lord, who has triumphed over death and hell. We steadfastly hold to His promise and eagerly await His second coming.

On that glorious day, the dead in Christ will rise first, and we who are alive and remain will be transformed and caught up together with them in the air.

Thus, we shall forever be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 14:3; I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 4:15-17).

GOAL

Our goal is to serve humanity with the proclamation of the Word of God that all men should come to repentance and receive everlasting life.  We should not just introduce souls to Jesus, but make Him known through the revelation and understanding of his Word. We are ambassadors of Christ and will strive to shine the light that the dying may receive life. We endeavor to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding so that it may be applied to our everyday lives effectively and practically.

Our goal is to diligently serve humanity by proclaiming the Word of God, facilitating repentance, and guiding individuals toward everlasting life.  We aspire not only to introduce souls to Jesus but also to deepen their understanding of Him through the revelation of His Word. As ambassadors of Christ, we aim to illuminate the path of salvation so that those in darkness may embrace the gift of life. By teaching the Word of God with simplicity and clarity, we empower individuals to apply its principles effectively and practically in their daily lives.

We want

  • to serve one another in a spirit of unity (in-house)
  •  to experience the joy of giving and the discovery of the many gifts in the Body of Christ
  • to reach out to our communities
  •  to represent Jesus through love and practical service
  • to make Him known through the message of the Gospel
  • This is a tangible expression of God's heart of love for all people

Vision

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

THE PAD aspires to embody a vision that transcends mere service provision by embracing a holistic approach. This approach is dedicated to tending the spiritual, physical, and emotional facets of individuals within PRAISE AND DELIVERANCE and its environs, drawing inspiration from the compassionate example set forth by Jesus.
